Green finance and climate adaptation is becoming more and more important as climate change has brought us many problems and climate related risks are increasing across the industry.

We invite you along to a seminar on green finance from the Environmental Agency and their approach to climate adaptation. We will be joined by Rohit Das, Senior Advisor for Green Finance with the Environment Agency UK to give us context on the Green Finance Strategy published by the government in 2019 and discuss his experience on the financial value of resilience.

This talk will include a discussion about the financial value of resilience in the context of increasing climate-related risks and how investing in resilience makes good business sense particularly for infrastructure and built environment operators.  The session will also include a case study on some new approaches to investment planning for future flood-risk management infrastructure in the proposed Oxford-Cambridge Arc.

This session is part of a series of webinars on green finance and climate adaptation which can be booked at the links below.

Recordings of the events will be available in the ICE library shortly after the events.
