HKA G&S: dissemination seminar of Nordic delegation 2023 and South Korea delegation 2023

Overview

In June and October 2023, ICE HKA G&S successfully organised two delegations to Nordic and South Korea respectively, aiming to enhance the exposure to civil engineering of graduates and students on an international scale. A series of site visits and in-depth presentations with the local engineers were arranged during the delegations.

Throughout the delegations, participants comprehended the novel engineering ideas and construction technologies are applied to the mega-infrastructure projects. The winners of student prize and some delegates are invited to share their lessons learnt and how does the delegation shape their engineering skills. The details of the seminar are shown in the following.

Notes:

• Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis, with priority given to ICE HKA G&S members.
• The event will be conducted in English.
• Attendance certificates will be provided after two weeks of the event only if attendees attend the whole event.
• The above is subject to change without prior notice.
• Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events.

Adverse weather arrangement:

The event will be cancelled or rescheduled to another date in case of Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above, or Black Rainstorm Signal being in force by the Hong Kong Observatory at or after 12:00.
