Overview
The Emerging Engineers Award (EEA) is a competition that is open to all ICE Graduate and Student Members, which requires them to submit papers on four areas of engineering design, research or practice. During the Hong Kong Heat Emerging Engineers Award competition held in October 2021, we have received a number of paper submissions from our members, and all of them have demonstrated excellent performance.
After conducting the assessment of paper submissions by experienced professionals, a total of five shortlisted candidates were invited to compete in the Hong Kong Regional Final. The winner of the Hong Kong Regional Final may be shortlisted to compete at the Emerging Engineers Award Global Final in the UK for the ultimate cash prize and the prestigious Institution Medal.
ICE HKA G&S is now inviting registration from Graduate and Student Members from academic institutions and the industry to attend the EEA 2022 Hong Kong Regional Final, where participants will be able to gain an overview of different engineering disciplines by listening to the presentation of finalists and learning from professional judges.
Note:
- Registration will be confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis, and priority will be given to ICE graduate and student members
- Successful applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail
- Attendance certificates will be provided for this event only if attendees attend the whole event
- Applicants with no-show records will be given lower priority in future G&S events
For enquiries, please contact Ms Gloria Ip on +852 5135 5129 or via email at [email protected].
ICE HKA G&S reserves all rights of the competition except the result of judgement in case there is any dispute.
