Adam Robinson

Adam Robinson is an ICE Fellow and Carbon Champion and has been working as Project Director on the Boston Barrier Scheme since December 2014, a year after the East Coast tidal surge which flooded 800 properties and businesses. Adam was an integral part of the Environment Agency’s delivery team, ensuring the timely submission of the Full Business Case and HMT Green book financial submission and the Boston Barrier Transport and Works Act Order 2017 application.

Adam also led on the delivery of the legal agreements and worked in conjunction with his communication’s team to address all key stakeholders through local community engagement prior to and during the Boston Barrier Scheme’s Public Inquiry in 2017. His work ensured corporate continuity throughout the delivery phase of the scheme which recently delivered 5% of the Environment Agency’s target for 300,000 homes better protected from flooding by March 2021.
