Join ICE Lincolnshire for a site visit to the Keadby Pump Station to learn first-hand how the 80-year-old pump station will help to protect 15,000 homes in the Isle of Axholme area from flood risk.
In April 2019 after Government investment was announced, work commenced with a £35 million upgrade to the pumping station as part of the Isle of Axholme Flood Risk Management Strategy. This project focused on tackling flood risk across a large area of North Lincolnshire.
The site visit will begin with a brief presentation on how the pumping station manages water levels across the region and diverts flood water into the River Trent during high tides.
