Overview

This speed-mentoring event is a collaboration between the ICE Early Careers Network and the ICE Regional Committee. During this event, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and have a conversation with mentors from various levels in the civil engineering industry (including professionally qualified and Fellow levels). Each mentor’s discussion will be centred around a specific theme, which were previously voted on from various ICE members. The themes may include:

  • Career progression
  • Professional development and study support
  • Developing new skills
  • Communication and Influencing skills
  • Managing People

Attendees will have approx. 10 mins with a mentor, in small groups to ask questions and discuss the topic, before you move on to the next mentor - in speed mentoring style.

This-in-person event is aimed at those who are not professionally qualified.
