Overview

For those working towards professional qualification, whether on a training agreement, a mentor supported training, or submitting a career appraisal, you will all probably be aware of the importance of understanding the ICE attributes. Please join ICE West Midlands Graduates and Students Committee for an online discussion session on Attribute 5: Sustainable Development.

Cath Mansell, Membership Manager – Mid England, will provide an overview of the attribute before opening a Q&A session from participants.

Your input is required to make the session valuable. These sessions are designed to be interactive and so attendees are requested to come prepared with questions and examples for discussion.

In preparation for the surgery, please consider the requirements of Attribute 5 (outlined below) and any examples you can share and discuss with the group:

  • Understand the principles of sustainable development and apply them in work
  • Manage engineering activities that contribute to sustainable development and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs)

If you have any specific questions or areas where you need extra guidance, you can submit these prior to the event by emailing: [email protected] so the event can be tailored accordingly.

Please register to attend and a Teams meeting link will be issued prior to the date of the event.

Registration for this event is limited, once capacity is reached, please email ICE West Midlands to join the waiting list, quoting the event name and date.
