Overview

Join Adam Boucher IEng ACIWEM, green recovery lead at Severn Trent for a presentation discussing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).

Severn Trent, through their green recovery programme will be investing £76m into Mansfield on a range of nature-based solutions to alleviate the risk of flooding to the Mansfield community. The aim of this scheme is to provide new SuDS, to see communities more resilient against increasing threat of flooding from climate change.

Adam will outline the design process that Severn Trent has employed to develop the construction of various types of SuDS interventions.

This presentation will include how the designers have incorporated the latest water drainage technology and combined it to achieve significant reductions in the surface water runoff entering the existing sewers.
This event will provide an excellent opportunity for those with an interest in sustainable drainage systems.
