Event organised by Offshore Engineering Society
To date, the main focus in the energy transition offshore has been on wind, but there is great potential in adding tidal to the energy mix, especially as generation is more predictable and costs gradually become more competitive.
Discover the science behind harnessing energy from tides and currents and learn about significant developments in tidal energy over the years, the latest projects, technologies, breakthroughs and insights into the exciting possibilities for the tidal energy sector.
Some of the devices tested in the UK, Canada and France will be discussed and potential sites for tidal range and tidal stream devices around the UK will be highlighted.
Please note: booking is not required to attend in person. Please register to attend online.
