Overview

This online presentation will demonstrate some examples of how Anna Furmaniak, design lead engineer at Cormac, prepared for her chartership, and her thoughts and advice on the process. During the presentation she will cover a range of stages which include:

  • Working with the ICE and understanding how a training agreement can support you towards achieving your goals
  • A brief example of how to demonstrate and achieve your IPD online chartership attributes and how you can keep yourself motivated in signing them off
  • The later stages of the process and where you can find additional support
  • Preparing for the final months leading up to your application and getting started on your project report
  • Organising the other documents, you will need for your application
  • Final Preparations for your Professional review and communication task

Anna Furmaniak

Anna is a design lead engineer working at CORMAC for 3+ years and is currently working towards her ICE Chartership after graduating from the University of Manchester with MEng in civil engineering in 2020. She is currently working on Newquay Strategic Route in Cornwall to construct a bridge and causeway across a floodplain, and various other highway retaining structures in Cornwall.
