Overview

The 2023/24 season opening event from Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers will be a presentation by Grahame Barn, chief executive of CECA Scotland.

Grahame will outline the current status of the market in Scotland. In addition, he will give an update on what and what hasn’t changed in terms of the procurement landscape in Scotland; a vital area for the construction industry.

There has been a huge amount of representation given by industry to the public procurement sector over the past few years including to the 2019 Construction Sector Inquiry held by the Scottish Government. How things have changed since then will be the focus of this presentation.

There will be tea, coffee and refreshments at 17:30 with an event start at 18:00. On site parking is available at various locations close to the building
