A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, she champions gender equality and diversity in project delivery across the UK, while also promoting inclusion throughout the company, ICE and wider construction industry.

She has been the ICE and Jacobs representative on the Building Equality (BE) Greater Manchester committee since its launch in 2017, and was co-chair from 2022-2024 arranging fundraising and networking events and outreach days at Manchester, Sparkle and Salford Prides for several years.
