Overview

Join the East Midlands Early Careers Network for a site visit to Curzon Street Station. This event gives participants a chance to see first-hand the construction that has been made on HS2’s West Midlands station.

Participants will be able to see the structure of the new rail line that is approaching Curzon Street station, and the new city-centre terminus of the line.

This unique event will be of great interest for graduates, students and apprentices interested in learning about major structures and rail construction.

The following PPE is required for access to the site:

  • Hard hat
  • Long-sleeve hi-vis top (orange)
  • Hi-vis trousers (orange)
  • Glasses
  • Gloves
  • Safety boots

Limited PPE can be provided, but please confirm shoe & jacket/trouser sizes (S/M/L) when booking your place.

The scheme is approximately a five-minute walk from Birmingham Moor Street train station, and approximately a 15-minute walk from New Street and Snow Hill stations.

Please note there is no car-parking on site, however a public car park is available a five-minute walk away at Millenium Point public car park (payable).

This event has been organised the ICE East Midlands Early Careers Network. Spaces for this event are extremely limited, once booking capacity has been reached, please contact [email protected] to be added onto the waiting list.
