Overview

Technicians are important members of the team working on new and existing projects in the civil engineering industry. All too often they are overlooked when it comes to professional qualification. This is an opportunity to find out why professional qualification is right for you.

This event will showcase the unique experiential learning that takes place at the Constructionarium. You will get the opportunity to see with your own eyes how to “turn theory into practice”. Join us to hear how people in their early careers in CAD/BIM are enhancing their professional skills as they work together to build a scale model of the Brewery Wharf cable-stayed bridge.

Meet other technicians who have already qualified as EngTech MICE members and find out about the difference it can make to their working lives.

Our local membership development officer, Lousia Rix, will be on hand to give advice and information on how to prepare for the professional review process. Meet other technicians from the local technician community, share stories and opportunities, seek help and advice on a variety of topics and get take the opportunity to get to know each other.

Please note: Constructionarium is a live construction site so full PPE (hard hat, glasses, gloves, hi-viz vest and boots) will be required.
