Overview

Join the ICE East Midlands Education and Inspiration Committee along with STEM Learning to explore the benefits of becoming a STEM ambassador, routes on how to get involved and what to expect to get out of becoming a STEM ambassador.

Throughout the evening STEM representatives will share their experiences.

Speakers include:

  • Jo Winterbourne, STEM manager at the STEM Learning East Midlands Hub, and
  • STEM ambassador Jonathon Simons, representative of the ICE East Midlands Education and Inspiration Committee.

The popular ICE activity 'Balancing Bridges' will also be available to try, which STEM ambassadors use whilst volunteering and engaging with students.

This event is a great opportunity for those with an interest in getting involved with STEM initiatives.
