The Queen’s Jubilee Scholarship Trust (QUEST) was set up in 1977 to support and encourage education in civil engineering. There are QUEST scholarship awards available to a wide range of potential and existing members. These awards are supported by members of the ICE and the industry. There are opportunities open for students, graduates, technicians and members alike.
The ICE Graduate and Student group in Kent and East Sussex want to help raise awareness of one of the QUEST awards for students. We have three successful applicants from Kent. They will discuss with you what motivated them to choose to study civil engineering. What is it like to study civil engineering at university and where to find out about some of the fantastic opportunities available including QUEST, the Newnham College competition and the Arkwright Trust
If you are considering starting the first year of a JBM accredited full-time civil engineering degree course in the UK in Autumn 2022. Then you could apply for the ICE QUEST scholarship. This award is worth up to £8,000 with the benefits of early links to potential employers and much, much more. The next application period is coming soon (March/April 2022).

This event is part of the annual Thomas Telford Prestige paper series, showcasing award winning papers from the previous year. This paper and Author won the Charles Manby prize at the ICE Awards Ceremony 2021.
