Overview

Civil engineering encompasses everything that is part of our daily lives and that would be hard to live without! From the roads we travel on, the pavements we walk on, the schools we attend, the offices we work in, the hospitals we visit, the water that comes out of our taps or flush away, the lights we turn on and much, much more.

Civil engineers design, create and connect the world around us, but why is it a great career for you to consider?

Join our panel of civil engineers working across the Midlands to learn about their engineering backgrounds, the different educational routes, and their career journeys so far.

Aimed at Sixth Form students with an interest in science, maths, engineering or technology (STEM) subjects, this event is for those who may be considering civil engineering as a career or simply want to find out more about the sector.
