Overview

Join the ICE West Midlands Senior Group for lunch at Dudley Golf Club followed by a presentation on the Dale Dyke Dam Disaster.

The Dale Dyke Dam collapse was one of the largest major disasters in the UK at the time, in 1864. The cause of the disaster was not uncovered until more than 100 years later, join this event to learn about this historical event. 

The meeting will follow the usual format; meeting at the bar at 12:30 followed by a meal at 13:00. The meal will consist of three courses followed by coffee or teas.

The cost of the three-course meal is £22.95 and must be paid on the day. Please advise of any dietary requirements by Friday 01 March 2024.

  • Starters: garlic mushrooms;
  • Mains: lamb, served with seasonal vegetables; 
  • Dessert: apple pie and custard.
