About this event

An overview of the East West Cycle Superhighway project which opened in Central London in Summer 2016. The presentation will focus on the collaborative approach to delivery, challenges that were overcome and some of the innovative design features.


Alan Rodgers

Alan leads AECOM's Traffic and Local Roads team in the south-west and is based in Cornwall as Partnership Manager for AECOM on CORMAC's Strategic Partnership. Over the past 13 years, Alan has successfully led on the planning, design and implementation of a number major transport infrastructure projects and programmes. Following experience as designer and site supervisor on the 1st generation Cycle Superhighways, Alan was heavily involved in the ECI and detail design of the current programme of routes.
