About this event

The London Environment Strategy is one of Mayor Sadiq Khan's key policy documents and its contents will determine the future development of the capital's waste, water and energy sectors.

The Strategy is currently under review by City Hall with the aim of a new strategy being in place by late 2016/early 2017.

This is your opportunity to comment on the draft proposals and to meet with key City Hall representatives working on the Strategy. The workshop will provide you with an overview of the document followed by breakout sessions covering:

  • Smart Energy
  • Energy Supply
  • Water
  • Waste

How can we make London carbon neutral by 2050? How do we shift London to a more circular economy based on the principles of 'reuse, reduce and recycle'? How can we ensure we have a secure supply of water and energy to cater for future demand?

All these questions and more will be examined at the workshop. Come along and help us shape the future of London.
