About this event

The University of Manchester has embarked on a £1 billion ten year plan to create a world-class, single campus for our students, staff and visitors. The first phase of this visionary masterplan includes the Manchester Engineering Campus Development (MECD).

The University of Manchester is investing over £300M to create a new and dynamic engineering campus which will reflect its vision and bold ambitions. The new engineering campus will provide a range of modern facilities in a bespoke environment, to support our excellent research, teaching and learning in the 21st century. MECD will deliver a sense of vibrancy by consolidating and welcoming the four engineering Schools into the heart of the university campus.

Join us for a personally guided site tour provided by Balfour Beatty and Arup. Spaces are limited to a maximum of 15 people. You must be able to bring along your own personal protective equipment (PPE) i.e. boots, high-vis, hard hat, eye protection and gloves are required. Some spare PPE is available, but please state if indeed the case prior to visit.
