Overview
Join the ICE Early Career Network East Sussex and Kent for its AGM, reviewing the past year’s activities and outlining plans for the upcoming 2024/2025 period. A key highlight will be the election of new committee members and the opportunity to discuss future events and career development opportunities.
The ICE Early Career Network Committee supports early-career professionals in innovation, communication, and engineering by offering mentorship, networking, and career development opportunities.
Key roles include:
- Communication and media lead: manages the network’s online presence, promotes events, and engages members through content and communications.
- STEM liaison: builds partnerships with STEM organisations, connects members to career resources, and advocates for STEM professionals’ needs.
- Student liaison: engages students, providing career guidance, mentorship, and resources to help them transition from academia to industry.
- Treasurer: oversees the network’s finances, manages the budget, and coordinates fundraising and sponsorship efforts to sustain network activities.
