Overview

Join ICE East of England for this year’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), this is a perfect opportunity to get involved in the regional committee.

The AGM will be hosted by the current regional chair, Peter Lawton, he will be reporting on 2023-24 activities, and discussing the plans for next year. This event will include reports from the wider committee covering this years successes and plans for next year.

ICE East of England committee are always searching for new members from all membership grades to join as volunteers and help drive the regional agenda. Please submit an email stating your interest in joining, together with a short biography to [email protected] ahead of the AGM.

Peter Lawton

Peter Lawton is the East of England regional chair. Peter has nearly 50 years of civil engineering experience in both the public and private sectors. Initially specializing in general civil engineering works, the demanding coastal environment of North Norfolk led to becoming adept in many aspects of coastal engineering. He has been engaged on a large number of coastal engineering projects ranging from the localised small scale works to large scale projects some of which were innovative. Clients have included Councils in England and Scotland, contractors, HR Wallingford, the insurance industry and major oil companies such as Shell and Perenco.
