Overview

The Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos (CICCP) in Spain and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in the United Kingdom are organising a conference to present and analyse the implementation of the PAS 2080 Standard, as part of the collaboration agreement signed by both institutions in 2022.

The conference will bring together leading British and Spanish experts, who will share their experiences and perspectives on the PAS 2080 standard to achieve sustainability and decarbonisation objectives in the construction and civil engineering sector.

During the event, case studies will be analysed and the challenges and opportunities presented by the implementation of this standard in different geographical and regulatory contexts will be discussed.

This meeting is part of the strategic collaboration between the ICE and the CICCP, consolidating the commitment of both institutions to promote innovative and sustainable practices in the field of engineering. The conference is shaping up to be a unique opportunity for professionals and institutions to deepen their understanding of the PAS 2080, fostering a dialogue that drives a transformation towards more efficient and low-carbon infrastructures.

The conference will be held in English.
