Event organised by ICE
International Women in Engineering day is an international awareness campaign to raise the profile of women within the engineering professions and to highlight the opportunities that STEM careers can offer.
The ICE and IStructE invite you to join them in an evening to hear from local professional women on their career journey and their take on the future. There will be four speakers at different stages of their careers to help gain insight and new perspectives. The talks will be followed by networking, discussions and pizza!
This will be a great opportunity for women at any stage of their careers to discuss relevant topics and gain advice/share tips. Joanne Thomas, regional chair of ICE and IStructE, Tara Sirati, senior geotechnical engineer, Caroline Jarvis, principal structural engineer, Arup and Ngozi-Orji Chukwu, graduate engineer will be at the event helping to facilitate discussions.
The event will be chaired by Ellie Thomas, ICE Wales Cymru Chair’s future leader.
There will be 60 spaces for the event, so if anything changes and you can’t attend, please let us know.
