Overview

Tying into to the 60th Anniversary of the Forth Road Bridge, join us on Sunday 16 June for a guided cruise around the Forth Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and Queensferry Crossing. Attendees will learn about the historical context of the bridges and receive specialist commentary about the structures as the cruise sails along the Firth of Forth.

The Forth Bridge, Forth Road Bridge and Queensferry Crossing area are landmark bridges that highlight the marvel of Civil Engineering. The guided cruise will include sailing under all three Forth Bridges and around the other major engineering sites such as Hound Point Oil Terminal and Rosyth Dockyard.

The guided tour will start at Hawes Pier at 10.30am. Please aim to arrive 15 mins before the tour.

The guided site visit shall be provided courtesy of Bear Scotland, supported by the local ICE Edinburgh Early Careers Network committee members.

Please note: spaces for the event are limited. If you are looking to attend this event, please ensure you have registered online to guarantee your place! The event is open to the public and ICE members.
