Muthukumar Ramaswamy
Mr. Ramaswamy earned his Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India in mechanical engineering. He got over 40 years of combined extensive experiences in various areas of engineering in India and Oman. His last assignment was a technical expert to Government of Oman. He has been working in Oman since 1997.
Before coming to Oman, he worked in the Government of India in Delhi for 12 years. He has designed a few of the largest utility plants in South-East Asia. He has published more than 100 research papers in international journals and conferences and authored six books on engineering subjects. He is in the visiting faculty and in the technical advisory board of various technical universities in India, Oman and Bangladesh etc. He has guided many PhD students. He is also examiner of many master and PhD students. He is member of various international professional organisations holding charter engineer status from U. K and India. He is the reviewer and editorial board member of international technical journals such as STEM SAGE Publications Ltd, U.K.
He has delivered more than 125 key-note lectures at various international conferences and meetings. His name is listed in WHOSWHO directory of Renewables from MENAT region. Also, his name is listed in Montreal Protocol WHOSWHO site as an appreciation of his work on ODS. He was the president of one of Indian Community Schools in Oman. He is on the advisor board of Waterloo Filtration Institute in the USA. At present he is working as technical director of Levels Training Institute in Oman.
