Overview

A free half day online conference, examining different ways of mitigating the increasingly prevalent risk of flooding, caused by extreme and unpredictable weather.

The conference is organized by ICE Wales Cymru and CIWEM, supported by Welsh Government and Natural Resources Wales.

The conference will have two sessions separated by a short break. There will be an opportunity to submit questions to the panel, which they will answer during the Q&A at the end of each session.

Lesley Griffiths MS, Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs will give the Keynote Address at the beginning of the first session and Clare Pillman, CEO of NRW will open the second session.

Other speakers will be drawn from the private sector, Welsh Government, local authorities and NGOs.
