Overview
The programme aims to upgrade the A9 between Perth and Inverness to a modern standard dual carriageway by 2025.
Its objectives include reducing journey times, improving journey time reliability, improve safety for motorised and non-motorised users by reducing accident severity, reducing driver stress and to improve integration with Public Transport Facilities.
This £3bn complex, challenging infrastructure programme is one of the biggest investments in the Scottish Government's portfolio. The presentation will explain more about the work carried out so far and what is planned.
