Overview

The Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route/Balmedie to Tipperty (AWPR/B-T) project is a major transport infrastructure project. It will significantly improve travel in and around Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland. Currently under construction, this is Scotland's largest Non-Profit Distributing (NPD) contract. This project is at the heart of the Scottish Government's commitment to improve transport in Aberdeen and across the north east. The presentations at the event will highlight some of the significant challenges associated with the design and build of such a major scheme and how these have been overcome.

Speakers are Gavin Dyet, Transport Scotland; John Guild, AWPR CJV; John Wilson, AWPR/B-T Managing Agent; and Eric Macaulay, Contracting Authority Site Representative.

Registration and refreshments from 5.30pm for 6.15pm start.
