Overview
The controversially entitled blog by James Gleave of Transport Futures poses some very fundamental questions about the role of transporting planning today. We have invited James to present the arguments contained in his blog, and Tom Vuren of Mott MacDonald has offered to respond in defence of the efforts of the profession.
John Dales, outgoing chair of the TPS, will also respond to James reflecting on how TPS can support the work of transport planners and decision-makers around the country. The debate will be chaired by the new chair of TPS.
Speakers
- James Gleave, Transport Futures
- Tom Van Vuren, Director Mott McDonald
- John Dales, Director Urban Movement and outgoing chair of the TPS
