Overview
The UK Government laid the foundation for the 4th industrial revolution in the construction industry by mandating BIM level 2 in 2016. In recent years, construction projects utilize various cutting-edge technologies, including drones, VR & AR to work smarter and increase efficiency in the AEC industry.
Melanie Dawson, Head of BIM at GRAHAM Construction, will shed light on the current position of BIM implementation on Infrastructure projects across the UK, examining the benefits BIM & Digital Construction has brought to projects, and how Industry 4.0 can lead us down the road to new opportunities.
