Overview

There is an ongoing debate within the profession as to whether our methods for the appraisal of transport schemes and initiatives are providing the information decision-makers need.

Concerns have been raised over the poor appraisal performance of some major schemes and the complexities of the process which make it unhelpful to many practitioners.

This Transport Planning Society (TPS) event attempts to address these issues.
