A. Ramasubramanian is a highly qualified and accomplished professional in the fields of engineering, law, and arbitration. He is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the United Kingdom, and has been empanelled as an arbitrator with both the Indian Council of Arbitration and the Maldives International Arbitration Centre. He is also the convener of the Bureau for the Empowerment of Arbitration and Mediation (BEAM), an organization dedicated to promoting alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods such as arbitration and mediation.
In addition to his work as an arbitrator, Mr. Ramasubramanian is also a Master Trainer in the areas of arbitration, mediation, contracts, and commercial management. He has co-authored a Handbook on ARBITRATION for practicing professionals, which was published by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India in Hyderabad. He is also known for his active promotion of the concept of ADR by writing articles and books, providing training courses, and lecturing on arbitration and ADR at law schools, universities, and professional bodies.
Mr. Ramasubramanian is currently the Managing Director of ADROIT CLAIMS AND ADR CONSULTANTS, a company with operations in Oman and India. He works as an arbitration consultant, arbitrator, and expert witness for a wide range of construction disputes, including those in infrastructure, oil and gas, railways, and commercial projects. He is also experienced in online and hybrid dispute resolution, claims advisory, and risk management for FIDIC and other forms of contracts, as well as contracts drafting and reviewing for construction projects. Additionally, he is certified mediator for commercial disputes.
