Overview

The trains are coming, and Europe's largest current construction project is coming to a close. What challenges do mega-projects such as Crossrail encounter and what can be learned from them? How do you phase the construction works and handover dates across the sites to avoid skills and material shortages and how can you change the way design is contracted to maximise efficiency of project wide finishes and materials, as well as harmonising maintenance?

Alex, Ciaran and Rhys discuss this and other challenges they have encountered while working on Crossrail.
