Overview

The first part of this presentation will describe the application of risk assessment for dam safety management, typical approaches and projects, and issues that have been identified through more than 15 years of widespread Australian practice.

In the second part, the presenter will describe his experience of governance and general legal considerations for dam safety in Australia. The current approaches and potential developments in this area will also be outlined.
