Overview
Climate Change is the most pressing issue of our time. The Scottish Government has set ambitious targets of reaching ‘net zero emissions’ by 2045 stating that “our contribution to climate change will end, definitively, within one generation”. Along with bringing forward new infrastructure that is ‘net-zero’ compatible, there is a pressing need to adapt our existing infrastructure.
Rising to these challenges will require ingenuity, technical expertise and a willingness to push boundaries.
Join ICE President Rachel Skinner and an expert panel to hear how civil engineers can meet the net zero challenge.
