Overview

This event is co-hosted by Association for Project Safety (APS) the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) are intended to deliver projects that are healthy and safe, and Civil Engineers could be asked to deliver a number of roles under these Regulations. This interactive session provides a quick refresh of the basic principles of CDM and aims to address some common misconceptions and FAQ alongside updates on new developments.
It provides worked examples and best practice case studies, relevant to the world of civil engineers, to show how CDM can be applied in a pragmatic and proportionate manner to help deliver successful projects.
Light refreshments will be served at 5.30, before the lecture which starts at 6.00pm.
