Overview
With the Scottish construction industry having to cope with extreme weather conditions throughout the year, the ICE Edinburgh Branch in conjunction with the Concrete Society Scotland Region is delighted to announce that we will be holding an evening lecture on Extreme Weather Concreting on 16 May 2019.
The presentation will cover:
- An introduction of what the extremes of weather are in relation to concrete
- How these affect the potential of the concrete design in relation to strength and durability
- The practical issues to consider and the care of concrete to ensure design parameters are met
