Overview

The nature of the construction industry can result in a claim being made against you, even if you are not the party at fault. However, many engineers are unaware of the potential risks and pitfalls.

This webinar will discuss aspects of managing risk and avoiding or minimising a claim.

Topics will include having the correct insurance in place to protect from the worst effects of a claim and how to get the most benefit from it. In addition, the session will review contracts and the options for a dispute.

The education of engineers is sometimes lacking in this area, but it is a vital aspect for contractors and consultants alike. Improved awareness can help to save significant costs and stress.

This event is hosted by the ICE Bristol City Club.
