Overview

ICE gathered 32 infrastructure professionals to help solve the problem statement: Find better ways to manage infrastructure data for the public good.

Using the National Infrastructure Commission’s Data for the Public Good report as context, attendees worked collaboratively to come up with new ways to manage information and delivery benefit to society, via a design thinking approach led by PwC facilitators.

Solutions ranged from a smart databank for managing pothole maintenance to a publicly accessible data portal with audible, visual and other sensory features. ICE will present the solutions at Digital DNA, 18-19 June in Belfast.
