Overview

Session 2 of innovation month is an online seminar consisting of presentations from start-up companies to showcase the innovative technology and solutions they have developed.

Construction start-ups are important because they bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the civil engineering industry. By integrating cutting-edge technology, these start-ups streamline operations, enhance safety, sustainability, and productivity on construction sites and operations.

At the end of the presentations, time will be given for any questions by the audience.

This event has been organised by the Early Careers Network London.

Innovation month consists of four sessions presenting innovative solutions shaping the future of the civil engineering industry. Over the month of June, four sessions will take place looking at innovation from different perspectives of various industry experts and leaders.

These sessions will be carried out each week with the following schedule:

  • Session 3: The design and construction of Crossrail, Monday 17/07/2023 | 18:00 – 19:30 GMT+1
  • Session 4: Sustainability Reading Club collaboration, Wednesday 26/07/2023 | 18:00 – 19:30 GMT+1
