  1. Geotechnic & Geodetic monitoring
  2. Temporary works
  3. High pressure / high precision hydraulic control

The webinar will include the general approach to mitigation temporary works focussing on the use of high precision hydraulic control and real time data through monitoring.

Various operation in the construction industry shall be discussed below and the different types of approach that can be used to help manage these works effectively:

  • New construction and refurbishment work

Dave has worked in construction for over 2 decades both on site and in the office (predominately focussed on temporary works), both in the UK and South East Asia. Throughout his career he has always had an appetite for technology & innovation and has led many development projects driving the industry in different avenues. More recently his focus area has turned from specifically temporary works to instrumentation and has been successful in building a business from grass roots to circa £3m per annum revenue providing such service.

The most exciting experience while working in the instrumentation sector is when he has been able to combine complex control (through high precision hydraulics) temporary works with instrumentation which has been used with success on a number of key projects providing mitigation monitoring & control. It is this subject that he wishes to share with the audience...
