The James Rennie Medal recognises the best Chartered Professional Review candidate of the year.

This year’s final will feature ICE’s top three Chartered Professional Review (CPR) candidates of 2020. They will each present and defend their CPR reports to an audience.

The three finalists are:

  • Bryony Coombs CEng MICE, Transformation Lead at Balfour Beatty, who will outline her work on the Minigo Suspension Bridge in Rwanda that connects a community of 4,300 residents to local hospitals, schools and markets
  • Chris North CEng MICE, Project Manager at Morgan Sindall, who will present his report on the Thames Tideway Tunnel that will capture an average of 39-million tonnes of sewage a year and prevent it from polluting the River Thames
  • Jake Sarjant CEng MICE, Senior Engineer at Mott MacDonald, who will discuss his role on the Linden to Mabura Hill Road Upgrade and River Crossing at Kurupukari which will improve transport links between Guyana and the north of Brazil

The best candidate will receive the prestigious 2021 James Rennie Medal in recognition of their achievements.
