How do we increase the life of one of our greatest assets - our road surfaces - whilst reducing carbon footprint and maximising financial value all at the same time?
This event is organised by ICE Wales Cymru Municipal Engineers Group (MEG) and supported by The Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT).
This webinar will take a closer look at asphalt preservation and rejuvenation and explain the difference between the two, why we should use them, how they work, where you can use them and what you can expect to achieve short, medium and long term.
It will cover how these cost-effective surface treatments can help protect your road networks and fit alongside more traditional and regular methods of maintenance whilst also reducing cost, disruption and environmental impact.
Trevor Thompson, Roadtechs, will include scheme examples from the 2021 season including extensive work with Norfolk County Council where, for the 7th year running, Roadtechs supported the county’s £29m maintenance programme by delivering Reclamite, a BBA HAPAS approved road surface extension treatment on the Broadland Northway (formerly known as the Northern Distributor Road (NDR) in Norwich - probably the largest surface extension treatment programme of works in the UK in 2021 – over 300,000m2.
ICE invites you to our online Knowledge Café. This event is designed for our regional and International members, as well as those who were unable to attend our first Knowledge Café event in London.
