Overview

The Oakleaf Recycling Facility is under construction at Stanwell Moor, near Heathrow and will process 120,000 tonnes of waste when opened in Spring 2017. The facility has been designed and constructed by a team including WDR & RT Taggart and Lagan Construction Group Limited.

The waste processing equipment forms a significant component of the facility and is being designed and installed by German firm, Stadler. The 5,000m2 building which houses the waste reception area, processing equipment and storage bays also includes an extensive fire detection and suppression system.

Please note that catering is from 17:30, with a lecture start at 18:15.
