Overview
A short AGM will be followed by an Address from our incoming Chair for the 2018-2019 Session: John Campbell. John is Arup’s Rail Business Leader for Scotland and the North East of England. His chairman’s address will provide a brief overview of his varied career and experience in design and client-side.
As we mark the 200th anniversary of the Institution, John will also celebrate some of the profession’s key contributions to life in Glasgow and the West of Scotland, whilst questioning the relevance of the ICE to its membership in a changing world.
John Campbell started his career with Scott Wilson Kirkpatrick, and has also worked for Railtrack/Network Rail and Amey. He has spent most of his career in Glasgow, with spells in Kuala Lumpur and Dubai. He is a Fellow of the Institution and a Supervising Civil Engineer.
Branch AGM followed by Lecture. Registration, refreshments and AGM from 5.30pm. Lecture starts at 6.15pm.
