The Queensferry Crossing will be officially opened on 4 September 2017. This lecture will review the whole project from its inception, but concentrating on the final 18 months of construction leading up to opening and beyond, including the organisation required for the Public Open Days and behind the scenes of a Royal Opening!
A team of speakers drawn from the client and project teams will be led by Lawrence Shackman, the Transport Scotland Project Manager and Deputy Employer's Representative and include Alan Platt (FCBC Construction Director).
Refreshments will be served in the café area on the Lower Ground floor from 6pm. This can be accessed via steps from the main entrance or from street level using a special access lift. The formal event will start at 6:30pm.
Please note that the capacity of the lecture theatre is limited so we may not be able to accommodate delegates who have not pre-registered a place using the online booking system.
