Overview

A series of web-based workshops aimed at graduate, student and technician members who are working towards EngTech, IEng or CEng with the ICE, organised by ICE Wales Cymru GSAT North Wales branch.

The workshops provide advice and guidance on recording Continued Professional Development (CPD) and Initial Professional Development (IPD), broken down by attribute.

Workshop 1: routes to professional development

The Speaker will be Steve Wintle BSc CEng MICE who is the ICE Membership Development Officer for North and Mid Wales.

Steve will provide an overview of the ICE Professional Qualification process at EngTech, IEng and CEng, MICE levels describing the 3 basic stages of the process. The options available and requirements for completion of each of the 3 stages will be explained in simple terms to enable members to make the choices that best suit their situations.

Steve Wintle

Steve is a Chartered Civil Engineer with 38 years’ experience in Consultancy and  was appointed MDO for North and Mid Wales in November 2015. Prior to this he worked for Haiste/Carl Bro/Grontmij for 27 years leading the Wrexham Office and undertaking the role of Profit Centre Manager for Energy England and Wales.

His experience encompasses a broad range of Civil Engineering and Building Projects including Energy, Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Leisure and Water Infrastructure Facilities.
