Overview

Peter Hasford spoke to an audience of civil engineers and guests at the Herts and Beds evening meeting of 20th May in St Albans. Peter described the UK construction sector strategy - developed and agreed by the public and private sectors - for 2025.

The strategy sets out targets for reducing waste, reducing cost and reducing carbon whilst dramatically improving the sector's trade balance with the rest of the world. Peter also describes his role and how he's helping to bring about change within Government as well as across the industry.
